It is quite common phenomenon that manyparents will bring their children to all kinds of classes as long as theirchildren have weekends or holidays. This kind of situation has been hotdiscussed among public. Some people hold that children deserve to have playtime as much as possible. Some believe that children should learn as much aspossible since they have strong ability to grasp new knowledge. Standing on mypoint of view, I’m convinced that children should be sent to training class tolearn as much as possible so that they can be more brilliant.

Firstly, training class can broadenchildren’s knowledge. For almost all children, they have very limitedknowledge. But if they are sent to training class, they can learn variousknowledge of life.

Secondly, training class helps children toimprove their skills. Nowadays, there are many kinds of training agents forchildren to train children a certain kind of skill. For example, a great numberof parents will send their children to dance class. In this kind of class, notonly children can learn dance skills, but they can practice themselves at thesame time.

Thirdly, children can be more outstandingin the future compared with those who don’t attend training class. Kids learnmore skills will be more flexible and smart than those who never attendtraining classes in doing certain kinds of things.

All in all, sending kids to trainingclasses will do a lot of good to children’s future.

Parents and Kids

Many parents who welcome the idea of turning off TV and spending more time with the family are still worded that without TV they would constantly be on call as entertainers for their children. They remember thinking up all sorts of things to do when they were kids. But their own kids seem different, less resourceful, somewhat. When there's nothing to do,these parents observe regretfully, their kids seem unable to come up with anything to do besides turning on TV.

One father, for example, says,"When I was a kid, we were always thinking up things to do. We certainly never complain in an annoying way to our parents: '1 have nothing to do! ' "He compares this with his own children today:"They're simply lazy. If someone doesn't entertain them, they' II hap-pily sit there watching TV all day."

There is one word for this father's disappointment: unfair. He deplores his children' s lack of inventiveness, as if the ability to play were something innate that his children are missing. In fact, while the tendency to play is built into the human species, the actual ability--to imagine, to invent, toelaborate--and the ability to gain fulfillment from it are skills that have to be learned and developed.

Such disappointment, however, is not only unjust, it is also destructive. Sensing their parents' disappointment, children come to believe that they are, indeed, lacking something, and that this makes them less worthy of admiration and respect. Giving children the opportunity to develop new re-sources, to enlarge their horizons and discover the pleasures of doing things on their own is, on the other hand, a way to help children develop a confident feeling about themselves as capable and interesting people.

Parents and Their Children' s Education

Parents, especially those of teenagers, care about their children's education more than anything else. They could do everything for their children. Many of them spend most of their spare time coaching their children in studies; those who have no time or cannot do it have hired tutors. Some also send their children to after-class schools. Some even have tried to improve their home environment. It seems as if a better education is all that parents expect for children.

The present situation can be explained by the following reasons. First of all, as our country's economy has been moving ahead healthily, many parents have become aware that future success depends more and more on skills and education. Lack Of training or education will no longer ensure that young people have a promising future. Secondly, it is evident that in a competitive society there are both losers and winners. The children who have grasped better skills and more knowledge will enjoy more opportunities. What is more,' with school tuition increasing it is also reasonable for parents to expect their children to be somebody or do something great as a result of education they have received.

Certainly, it is good to see much of parents' attention is paid to children's education. However, in my opinion, emphasis should also be laid on fostering their other abilities and personal qualities. True, it is important to learn to succeed, but the first thing to learn is how to survive and how to be a qualified citizen. If this is included in good education that parents are seeking now, their children will be definitely ensured not only a bright future but also a sound intellectual and mental foundation, hence a healthy life.

About Raising Kids

Today, I happened to read the news that most celebrities pay special attention to their kids’ education, when the baby was inborn, they had already planed the school, they order the school with good fame for the purpose that their kids can have the chance to enter the good school. Some parents even ask their kids to learn several skills in a time when the kids are in primary school. Every parent wants their kids to be the best, but it needs to step by step.

It is such common situation that most small kids need to take several after-class lessons, because the parents want their kids learn as more as possible, so they decide to send their children to learn many skills. In my opinion, the parents should not let their children learn so many classes in the early age, the kids need to spend some time to play with their friends, they need to breathe some fresh air. If the parents push them so much, the children will go against with the parents.

Every parent wants to raise their kids to be the excellent persons, but they must take the right way, they need to give their kids some freedom.

Should we pay our parents for their babysitting?【推荐】

It seems so normal that parents will take care of their children’s children in China. We can see a large crowd of grandparents standing in front of kindergarten to pick up their grandchildren. It seems that taking care of grandchildren has become grandparents’ obligation. They should do it for free. However, now this concept has changed, some people said that parents should get the payment for their babysitting, because they are old and babysitting is a heavy work; while others think that parents should do it for free. In my point of view, I agree with the former one.

In the first place, parents’ duty and obligation is to raising their children until they have reached an adult age, but not still raising their children’s children. There is no doubt that raising a kid to adult is a difficult thing. It requires a lot of love and money. In China, most parents give the child university tuition and living expenses. They want their kid could focus on learning. Some parents even spend money for their child to find a good job which is secure. Our parents had already done so many things for us without any return. It would be a shame to ask parents to look after our children for free in their age.

In the second place, someone argue that the days are tougher than before, we should not give extra pressure to young couples. It is true that the competition is fierce than before, but think about it, parents must had been through a more difficult period to raising a child in the old age, for every conditions of life are in a low level. They give their best for their children, and when they are old, they still do the same thing for their grandchild. I think it is reasonable to pay them back.

To sum up, parents deserve better in later life, even most parents are volunteer to do babysitting, young people should show some responds, they could pay them back with money, if it will increase the economic burden, then they could share the babysitting with them and love them more.

shadow in the story. But why do some people always leave things till tomorrow? To them, time is never to be used up. If today ends, there is still tomorrow.

In my opinion, Future is somewhat a mystery, for nobody can tell what his future will be. You may win the lottery and become a millionaire overnight and you may have an accident and become paralyzed. So future is just like a butterfly, when you extend your arms and try to get it, are you sure you can get it.

William Shakespeare once said:" On the great clock of time, there is only one word-that is 'now'. Now means today. Now is more practical than future. If you grasp today firmly, you'll catch your future. Maybe everyone knows the famous slogan of Nike Company, "Just do it!" I'm going to add one word to it, "Just do it now!"

Winter

I was born in Guangdong, the southernmost province in mainland China where in winter the temperature seldom falls be low 5C. For the past 19 years, I had never seen snow. I couldn't remember from when I had been dreaming of seeing a real snow, and experiencing a bleak winter.

Before I entered the university, I had never expected the climate difference of Shanghai and Guangzhou. But as October came, the falling golden leaves and the chilly winds indicated that this winter would be cold.

October walked away in the whisper of the falling leaves.Winter approached in November, and then December.

The dazzling golden color already faded away, leaving only the bare branches sticking out into the frosty air. Grass that was once as thick as a fine cardigan carpet could no longer be found anywhere. What I saw were the slushy fields which were jade green in September.

I considered it a great fortune to watch the sun, which was mild, jumping off the horizon and into those bare branches.Even on sunny days, the temperature was still low. The campus was left deserted and lifeless.

Was this what I had been longing for? Could it be called a bleak winter? I thought I should feel satisfied. Shanghai is still in the south. I couldn't expect more. But there was still some thing in my mind, as it was only one step to my dream. I prayed every day for a snow. A slight one could be enough. Once again.God heard.

I'll never forget the morning of Christmas. On my way to the library, a white elf found its way into my coat. It took me more than a minute to realize what was happening. Believe it or not, it snowed. Suddenly I understood why God took all the signs of life away in winter. He must have been clearing up a stage for his spoiled kid snow.

Tears welled up in my eyes, for my thankfulness to God and to the special, bleak winter.
