Nowadays, our society is filled with plenty of fake diplomas, making an increasing numberof people start to complain. Obviously, its appearance and development disturbpeople's life.
Aswe all know, we live in the world with a great deal of challenge andcompetition, and this is one of the reasons which resulting to the result.Besides, if people have access to fake diplomas, it's not necessary for them tostudy hard, and they wouldn't waste time on study. What's more, when theygraduate, they can get a desire job which many other people can't get. Naturedly, they will make a big sum of money which helps them to live a comfortable life. However, it has a terrible effect on people who struggle to get a greatdiploma. They feel it's not justice for them to pay their perspiration. Littleby little, more and more people learn to cheat instead of accruing a degree inan honest way.
Whenit comes to me, I consider we should take some effective measures to preventthis phenomenon, and we must have a reasonable attitude towards the degree. Forexample, when someone hunts for jobs, their individual personality andpractical ability should be accounted by HR as one of the most crucial factors.Only we take it seriously can we solve the problem of fake diplomas drastically.
In recent years, the deathpenalty has been aroused people’s attention and the heated discussions towardsit are right on their ways.
On the one hand, some people hold that the death penaltyshould not be canceled. They arguethat the death penalty can act as a threat or a limitation for the criminals. Ifthe death penalty is canceled, the criminals will be more cruel and crazy, andthat will be a bigger threat for people. In addition, cancelling the deathpenalty will weaken the effect of our laws.
On the other hand, some people considerthat the death penalty should be canceled. They point out that no matter whatthe criminals have done, they are still human beings. Each life is precious andwe should respect each life. Besides, we should give another chance for thecriminals to remedy their mistakes and amend themselves.
Taking above into consideration, I aminclined to agree with the former. I suggest that we should remain the deathpenalty. Although the latter is right in some extent, I do not agree that thosewho murder deliberately should be forgiven and pardoned.
Almost all students pay great attention ongrades because those who get high scores are considered as winners. Hence, studentsare trying their best to get high grades. Some people argue that high scoresstand for students’ ability. Some people believe that scores not equal to students’ability to handle things. In my opinion, I think that grades have nothing to dowith ability. Reasons are listed below.
First of all, grades can’t representstudents’ ability to handle things. Most tests need students to recite things. Those who have good memory can get good scores from this kind of test. However, our society needs talents who have great skills in handling things which we canobtain by experience rather than getting good scores by testing. On this point, scores can’t prove students’ practical ability.
Secondly, grades can be faked. It is acommon phenomenon that many students will cheat in the exams. In order to gethigh scores, students will use every possible means to cheat in the exam. So,scores are not trustable.
In conclusion, scores stand for nothingrelated to students’ practical ability. Besides, we can’t believe gradesbecause they could be faked.
Nowadays, the Internet has become very common in our daily life, in that we can surf the Internet everywhere anywhere by computer or mobile. However, the debate on the pros and cons of the network has never stopped. Some people say that the network is a platform for information sharing. Due to it, we have a convenient channel for the dissemination of information and access to information. But some others argue that some people commit a crime by the Internet, so we should stay away from the Internet. From my point of view, I prefer to agree to the former view.
There are some reasons accounting for my point. Firstly, with network, we can exchange information frequently and conveniently. In the information area, information is wealth. In many cases, whether we can succeed in something, it depends on how much information we get. In addition, except for its serious functions, network is a good tool to entertain. Preciously, we only have TV or game machines to have fun, but now we have a functional platform for fun. On the Internet, we can watch TV programs and movies, or we can play online games as well as chat with friends freely, which is a good way to relax.
In short, there is no denying that the Internet has its own disadvantage, but I think its advantages far overweight its disadvantages that we can make good use of those good but avoid those bad.
Welive in a world full of competition, part of which includes examinations.Unfortunately, our fate and future are determined by it. We need to pass theCollege Entrance Exam to enter university; excel in interviews to obtain a job;pass the driving test to acquire a driver’s license. Examinations take place ineveryday life of common people; hence we have got too accustomed to it torealize its negative side.
Thefacts speak for themselves that examinations have become a yardstick of successand failure in today’s society. Its efficiency of measurement may explain partof its popularity, but does it truly reflect a person’s ability and aptitude?
Itis vital to make such a fact clear that examinations cannot test what we know, but what we remember. A student with a good memory may find it very effectiveto cram all the knowledge into mind before examinations. In this sense, it is veryunfair for the students who work hard all the time. Since no one performs athis best all the time, examinees are no exceptions. Some unexpected accidentshappened to them like a sudden headache will affect the outcome, thus fail thestudent.
Iwould like to put forward my heart-felt proposal that one day some morescientific and humanized method will replace the old tradition. With effortsfrom educationists and other related professionals, hopefully, it will notremain a dream only.
Nowadays, many youth changes their jobs frequently which have aroused large focus by public. Some people think young people should stick to one job until they learn things. But others think if young people have higher salary or position, they could change their jobs as well as they like. In my opinion, I prefer the second one.
Firstly, many students don’t know what kinds of job they really want after graduate, but if they practice and change constantly, they may find the favor one. Moreover, change means step forward. Of course, they will choose the one with high pay or high position.
Secondly, changing job means knowing more people. Youth could learn more skills from different bosses and colleagues, and make friends with ex-boss or workers; It must be huge relation recourse for their career.
Thirdly, changing jobs could exercise youth’s ability, especially adaptability. When young people meet the new environment and new people, they need times to adapt all of it. If they experience more, they would make themselves become the member of the collective as soon as possible, which also advantage for their works.
To sum up, it’s reasonable to change their jobs if youth have the chance.
