The post required talking to large groups of parents; in order to persuade them to become shareholders it was essential to talk both persuasively and confidently. Also I work regularly as a tutor for Explore Learning, teaching Maths and English to groups of young children, and do voluntary work for the Epsom and Ewell Bengali association: I help elder members of the community who don’t speak English fluently to fill in forms and write letters. The subjects of maths and physics have always fascinated me and I knew very early on that I wanted to pursue a career that involves science. I also studied Advanced Higher Music last year at school. I am very interested in the use of electronics in music, and I wrote a project on the physics of the electric guitar. This interest prompted me to spend a week of work experience at Wolfson Microelectronics, a local company that engineer integrated circuits for many high profile audio equipment firms. During my stay I was assigned the task of designing and assembling a circuit to investigate the voltage offset and noise created by an operational amplifier. I was also introduced to a silicon microphone, a development which is sure to be significant in the future of electronics, and introduced to all the main stages in the development of a microchip, from design to failure analysis. In June, I attended a week-long Headstart course held at the University of Cambridge. 一、学术要求

1.学历

爱尔兰的大学中的本科，接受高中的在读生和毕业生、本科在读生和专科学生的申请，大家需要出示自己的学历证明，不管是在读证还是毕业证，都需要进行公证。

二、语言要求

1.普校

爱尔兰留学新生须知事项

一、机票

必须提前至少一周时间通知校方安排寄宿家庭，有的学校在暑假期间要求提前二周通知。因爱尔兰与中国没有直接航班机，因而学生需经欧洲的大城市转机。伦敦是最经济的线路，但因需申请过境签证，心须到北京使馆面试，不值得劳神费力。法兰克富、巴黎、哥本哈根、阿姆斯特丹、布鲁塞尔等都可以成为前往爱尔兰的中转城市，而且无须申请过境签证。请将机票复印后传真至代理处。一般学生在出发前可以接到寄宿家庭地址、电话，以方便入境及家长与学生的联系。购票时请注意航班之间的衔接时间是否方便。

二、出发

外地学生提前一天到达北京，以免因意外发生延误登机。国际航班一般提前3小时到机场，提前2～2.5小时进行登机登记，起飞前1小时结束登记。如果你在起飞前1小时未到柜台前登记，航空公司有权将你的位子转让给其他乘客。学生到达机场后凭护照、机票在你的航线柜台前排队办理登机手续，同时托运行李。

Although I pursued an academic rather than creative path in school, I have always been fascinated by the patterns that occur in art, architecture and the natural world, and drawing and painting have heightened my appreciation of them. Creating art, whether it is realistic or abstract, has helped me to see the world more clearly.

In October 20_ I began studying Classics and Modern Languages at Oxford University, but I had to leave in my first term as the problems my dyspraxia caused me were more severe than anticipated and I struggled to cope with day-to-day living and developed mental health problems. Studying this course would give me an opportunity to get back into Higher Education and to learn more about something which has always interested me.

Although I have no formal qualifications in art, I have kept up my passion for it outside the curriculum. My favourite material to work with is charcoal, as I find it helps me to portray texture better than any other material, although I also enjoy working with paints, pencil, collage and I have recently begun to develop an interest in tapestry and relish the opportunity to explore new media which this course would offer me. I have recently been doing a life-drawing project on wood, which stems from my interest in the forms and textures in nature. I have also been inspired by the art I have seen as part of my study of other subjects. On a school trip to Spain, I visited various museums and was particularly moved by Picasso's Guernica at the Reina Sofia Museum and I was fascinated by Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly delights which I saw at the Prado. I am also interested in the psychology behind art and how people are empowered by artistic self-expression. 1、对留学意向国家的政治、经济、文化背景和教育体制、学术水平进行较为全面的了解;

1、护照：护照是一个国家的公民出入本国国境和到国外旅行或居留时,由本国发给的一种证明该公民国籍和身份的合法证件。由公安局颁发。护照是中国政府颁发给中国公民的，实际上就是被其它国家承认的身份证件。

2、签证：签证为外国为一国国民颁发的准许入境的证件。签证由外国使馆签发在护照上(在护照上做标记)，是外国政府颁发的一种允许入境的证明。

3、护照和签证的办理：

Those were just a few of the thoughts that began circulating through my seven- year old mind. I was born in upstate New York and raised in Maryland, yet of Lebanese origin. Out of nowhere, I learned that I would soon have to leave my friends and the only place I had ever known existed; it turned my world upside down. I was just like any other seven-year old girl; obsessed with Barbies, playing dress-up with my mother''s clothes and jauntily leading a carefree life. I was a very curious young child, always feeling the need to know something about everything. I was outgoing and sometimes a bit obnoxious, but then again who wasn''t at the age of seven? Soon after I learned of our move to Saudi Arabia, everything changed.

I arrived in Saudi Arabia and experienced extreme culture shock. I learned that in public, women have to be covered from head to toe by wearing what the Saudis call an abaya, which is a black cloak or gown that completely covers the female body. Women are not allowed to drive, work, or closely interact with men, and the weather is unbearably hot 11 months a year. The people spoke a language unfathomable to me and I was on the verge of a breakdown. In this strange, new country, I felt like a completely different person. I knew absolutely no one. I went from being a happy, outgoing little girl to a girl with no friends and no knowledge of anything around her, which of course was a completely alien experience for me. What could Saudi Arabia possibly offer me? Was I ever going to learn to tolerate the vastly contrasting culture and lifestyle? The moment I saw the endless cascading mounds of sand and barren earth, I was convinced that there was no way I was ever going to make friends with people who were at home in this desolate and backwards country, who nonetheless spoke a language completely foreign to me. I remember crying everyday, begging my parents to take me back home; a place where I was perfectly happy with everything and never complained. Soon enough however, I was placed in an American school in the middle of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Over the years, I met people who had also just moved from their countries and we all turned to each other to share our thoughts and experiences in our new home. Up until the ninth grade, I remained a shy and reserved individual, as there wasn''t much for a young girl to do in a strict and religious country like Saudi Arabia; or so I thought. It was not until my freshman year that I broke out of my tiny, introverted bubble and began taking an active role in my school surroundings. I began getting myself involved in competitive school team sports such as basketball and soccer; went on an international study trip with the school to Switzerland and traveled around the kingdom as a member of Saudi Arabia''s All-Kingdom Band playing the trombone with proud fluency. I even managed to acquire the country''s native language, Arabic, and began to learn more about my religion - Islam. I soon established friendships with individuals from various countries such as Canada, Egypt, Jordan, United States of America, South Africa, Brazil and Pakistan, just to name a few. The people helped me adjust to the country, despite its desert-like climate and strict rules. Over time, we shared aspects of our cultures and traditions, in addition to realizing that we all have our similarities and differences. 1、大学毕业，获得毕业证、学位证(或大学大四在读);

2、大学成绩的平均绩点在2.5以上或主课平均分75分以上，申请SKY学校建议绩点在3.0以上或主课平均分80分以上;

3、自考或成考本科毕业，获得毕业证，同时具备学士学位，但是自考成考学历申请研究生时有学校限制。

1、平均分：

即学生本科的成绩。意愿申请香港硕士的专业，一般建议学生的成绩在80分以上，方能具备最基本的竞争能力，特别是针对普通大学的学生。如香港中文大学的专业都有GPA 3.0即80%要求。当然如果申请人分数高，特别是专业成绩好对申请同样很有帮助。
