Nowadays, credit card consumption has been a commonphenomenon in our lives. However, different people hold different views in itand heated debates are right on their way.

Some are in favor of the credit card consumption. Theypoint out the fact that credit card provides a convenient and safe way for ourconsumptions. They consider that using credit card to pay is more convenientand clean than pay by cash, which is as easy to lose and unclean. In addition, they argue that credit card can help a lot when we are meeting seriousfinancial trouble. For example, when we get involved in trouble and need lotsof money to solve it, the overdraw function of credit card would be a goodhelper.

However, there are many people standing on the otherground. They figure out that credit card consumption has brought some seriousproblems in many aspects. Many people spend their money recklessly by usingcredit card. And what’s worse, those who can not control the desire to consumeand never make a plan to spend their money will overdraw the money immoderatelyand that will cause more and more family involve in financial crisis.

My View on Job-hopping

Different people have different opinions about job-hopping. Some people like to change jobs frequently because they don’t know what they really good at; while some people stick to one lifelong job for they believe changing jobs frequently will have negative effect on making progress on specific field. As far as I concern, I think job-hopping has both advantages and disadvantages for the following reasons.

On one hand, job-hopping can help those young people who just graduate from universities to find out what jobs they are really good at. They change jobs frequently because they don’t like this job or they just want to find a better job. Some people think changing jobs frequently can ignite their inspiration. I have a friend; he is one of the types that changing his job from time to time. This month he works at the supermarket, next month he is doing business with others. Recently, he plans to run a shop on line. I ask him why, he said that he wanted to find out what job he loves the most. And doing a job for the rest of his life is quite tedious. He doesn’t want to live in the regular life style.

On the other hand, some people are not so willing to change their jobs, especially most women. If one of them finds a job is steady, she possibly won’t change her job, even though the salary is not good enough. For them, changing jobs takes too much courage and time; it’s not so wise to change. Steady is the most important factor for them.

Whether to change jobs, it’s up to you. I think it both has advantages and disadvantages. If you think the job you do right now is not good enough, you can seek for a better job; if you can’t take the risk of resign, you had better stay.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Credit Card

Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the topic of Credit Cards. You should write at least 120 words following the outline given below in Chinese:

Credit Cards

Personal credit cards are becoming more common in China. Banks and other financial institutions are encouraging their customers to change the way they buy things. Credit cards, known as “plastic money”, are being offered on very good terms to encourage the change. Consumers will be able to “buy now, pay later”, and many see this as an advantage.

But people need to be careful. There are dangers associated with credit cards. Some people find it very easy to exceed their budget. They are tempted to purchase goods that they do not really need, and can become quickly overburdened by debt. The credit cards often charge a high rate of interest, which exacerbates the problems for these people.

However, used wisely credit cards can improve the quality of people’s lives. They can give people access to money to meet sudden unplanned expenses. Properly handled, they can let people control their expenditure and the monthly statements provide a record of where their money has gone.

The Use of Credit Card

Nowadays, with the development of Internet, it is much easier to make the deal. People don’t have to carry the paper money, instead, they can use the cards, and then click on the computer, the deal is finished. Credit card is very popular, many people choose to use it. But we need to take care.

On the one hand, credit card gives people a large amount of money to spend ahead. When people have a lot of money at hand, they will have the strong desire to spend and buy what they want. Some peoplecan’t control themselves. Credit card brings people the sense of satisfaction.

On the other hand, credit card makes people burden a lot of money. When people spend the money ahead, it means that they need to return it. Some people become the slave of credit card, they need to pay off part of the money every month. They don’t earn much, but they need to take out some part of the salary to pay off the debt.

Every coin has two sides. Credit card brings people pleasure, at the same time, if people use it in the improper way, they can be the slave.

My View on Abandoning Grad School【精】

With the development of the society, the competition in finding jobs for graduates is also increasing. When college students graduate from school, a part of them choose to continue further study to avoid the stress from job market. However, there are also parts of people abandon grad school. They choose to face the difficulty directly. In my opinion, these people make a good choice.

First of all, college graduate students are not sure worse than graduate students. Although postgraduates receive higher education than graduates that they may know more knowledge, they can’t compare with graduates’ three years’ working experience. We all know that knowledge and working experience are both important to employers. And some enterprises have special preference for experience. Therefore, I think the behavior that graduates abandon grad school is another preparation for their career.

Secondly, competition will not disappear forever. As the world is in the changing trends, the competition has many chances to increase day by day. In other words, it is possible that the competition after three years will much fiercer than now. Nobody can make sure that the postgraduates will have less stress in finding jobs. So, why not wasting three years?

According to the opinions above, I think abandon grad school is a wise choice. Sometime we can’t avoid the things will happen one day, and we need to face it directly.
