As the National Day came, I have a vacation, so I made the plan to go out and travel to the different places. Last year, I went to the big cities, like Shanghai, there were so many people, I could hardly see the tourist site. So this year, I decided to go to the small place, Wu Zhou. But the result is almost the same, so many people were around everywhere.

When I arrived at Wu Zhou, I was attracted by its beautiful scenery, though the city is small, the water and the mountain are around the city, which makes the city beautiful and casual. The city is famous for the food, especially the restaurant which below the Baiyun mountain. I thought it maybe a little more people, so I woke up early in the morning for avoiding the summit time. I came to the restaurant at about 7 o’clock, there were a lot of people standing in the long line. It needs to take about two hour for me to get a table!

When National Day comes, I Feel so excited, it is not because I will have a vacation, but also I have many plans. Every October 1st is the birthday of our motherland. It belongs to all Chinese. In order to remember this special day, we will have seven days off according to the law. There are many people will choose to travel during this holiday. But, I won’t. The reasons are as following.

First of all, it is a festival to celebrate the birthday of our motherland. We should do something related to it. We will have military parade annual. I think it is good for me to stay at home with my parents to watch it. Watching the beautiful and magnificent scene, solemn military, advanced weapons, I feel proud of them and would like to express my great thanks to them for protecting us and earning such happy life for us. It is such a great program that I don’t think anyone should miss it.

It may be three or four times expensive than usual.
